All houses took part in an non-uniform day to raise money for Kampala Children’s Centre in Uganda. The Kampala Children’s Centre had recently performed a concert as ASA, and as a result many of the staff and students who attended were touched by their stories and wanted to raise money to help support their work.
The non-uniform day became a house competition, with Houses raising money in a number of ways including ‘busking’ in the Agora and by sponsored fancy dress.
A second house competition took place in the afternoon. Each tutor group worked together to produce a mosaic. The mosaic had to represent our culture and that of Uganda.
