Archbishop Sentamu Academy student nominated for top national award

Scott Baker has been nominated for a prestigious AstraZeneca STEM Student of the Year Award.  This is in recognition of his development in making progress towards a career in technology.

Scott has been on placement at the Hull firm, IT@Spectrum as part of the Career Ready programme and he is making a lasting impression.  Career Ready’s Regional Manager, Karen Fuller, and Chief Executive, Anne Spackman both feel Scott deserves to be nominated for this accolade.  The overall winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva

Nominations close in the near future and we will let you know how Scott got on.
